Overall bike "health check" & diagnosis
Frame and forks wiped down and checked for damage and alignment
Seatpost removed, checked, cleaned and regreased
Headset tightened if needed
Wheels and tyres checked for damage & wear
Wheels trued (straightened) if needed
Wheel hubs tightened/adjusted if needed
Tyres inflated to the recommended pressure
Brakes serviced:
- Brake levers checked
- Brake cables re-lubed/replaced if needed
- Brake pads cleaned/replaced if needed
- Rim brake surface cleaned and checked for wear (or disc brake rotors cleaned and checked)
- Brakes tightened and re-aligned
Gears serviced:
- Gear shifter(s) checked
- Gear cables re-lubed/replaced if needed
- Front & Rear mech checked and lubed if needed
- Gears re-indexed
Drivetrain (chain/casette/chain rings) checked for damage & wear, cleaned and degreased, chain degreased and re-lubed
All Nuts & Bolts checked/tightened to the correct torque setting

Brake surfaces/disc brake rotors cleaned and checked for any signs of damage & wear
Brakes tightened and re-aligned

Gear shifting issues can be caused by many different factors and can not only lead to damage to your bikes components but can also lead to physical injuries and cause accidents. a regular Gears Service will ensure continued smooth and rapid shifting across your entire range of gears whilst keeping chain wear in check. Replacing your chain at the right time can save you lots of money in the long run as it will prevent your cassette/ freewheel/ sprocket from wearing out prematurely as well as your front chainring(s).
